Conway Lady Tigers came up with a long overdue win last night against rival Sumter in what seemingly was their last chance to hopefully sneak into the playoffs.

Down 2 senior captains with injuries the Lady Tigers played their most complete game of the season. Freshman Atley Livingston did something no one thinks has ever happened before in Tigers History, she had a hat trick as a freshman, bringing her total to 5 on the season. Junior Zakera Chadmon added 1 more (her 9th on the year)as the Tigers won 4-2
With the win the Tigers moved into a tie for the last playoff spot with only 1 more regional match left this Friday night (Senior Night).

Game 1 wasn't the way the Lady Tigers wanted to start the season as they lost to a very talented Myrtle Beach team 8-0. Conway gave up an astounding 40 plus shots and had very few themselves.
Goalkeeper Molly Hopkins was amazing despite letting up 8 goals. It could have very easily been double digits with the number of shots she faced.

Game 2 was a much better result as the Lady Tigers scored a much needed shutout win over Georgetown 2-0.
Sophmore Bailey Beck scored early in the second half to break the tie and Sophmore Paige Neff added 1 more a short while later for a 2-0 lead. The defense held off Georgetown all game, only allowing 5 shots on goal total.

Game 3 was a hard, physical match against host NMB. The Lady Tigers playing down 4 players including senior defensive starter Jasmin Rodriguez who suffered a concussion in game 1 weren't able to stop NMB and again fell short (6-0) of the much needed win to even consider advancing to a 3rd place, 4th place match up later in the day.

In the end we feel this tournament gave us a great indication of what we need to get better at and how it's going to take a lot of hard work to get to our goals for the year.

Goalkeeper Molly Hopkins was named to the All Tournament Team.
